Hi, my name is Tafi, and this is how OE Skin & Body was born.

My day job is working with magnetic materials. Has been for years. So magnets have always just been… part of my world. Something I work with, not something I thought much about beyond that.

Until I got a really bad migraine at work

I'd heard about this thing called magnetic therapy — the idea that magnets could actually do something for the body. I remember thinking, well, I'm literally surrounded by magnets all day, so why not? I grabbed some and put them on my neck where the pain was. Honestly? I didn't expect much.

It worked I was shocked!

That was it. That one moment completely changed the direction of my life. I went from someone who worked with magnets to someone who couldn't stop thinking about them — what they could do, how they worked, why they worked, and what else I could use them for. I started researching, experimenting, testing things on myself. One product led to another. Headache relief led to workout recovery. Workout recovery led to skincare. Skincare led to sleep. And it just kept going.

Then COVID hit. Med spas closed, salons shut down, and I watched so many women scrambling, trying to figure out how to take care of themselves at home. I thought — I can help with that. That's when I developed the magnetic skin patches. Something you could use every single day, right at home, as part of your normal routine. Nothing complicated. Just something that works quietly in the background while you go about your life.

I became my own best customer. I wear my patches to bed almost every night. My mattress has magnets in it. There's a magnetic cushion in my car. I train on my magnetic cork yoga mat. I wear the rings, the bracelets, the straps. And now I'm putting everything I've ever created into one place — so everyone can have access to it.

THE PHILOSOPHY

The philosophy behind everything I make comes down to one thing: the Earth already figured this out. The Earth has its own magnetic field, and when you connect with it — when you walk barefoot on the ground, feel the soil under your feet — your body responds to it. That's grounding. That's real. What I've spent years trying to do is understand that pattern and recreate it. Every magnetic pattern I design is my attempt to give your body that same feeling — that same connection — wherever you are. Grounded on the go.

Every material we use — Portuguese cork, medical-grade silicone, raw elements from the Earth — is chosen because it belongs near the body. Nothing toxic. Nothing unnecessary.

ACCESSIBLE BY DESIGN

Magnetic therapy has always been expensive. I didn't want it to stay that way. Every OE product is priced so that wellness isn't a luxury. And because our magnets are permanent — they don't lose their charge, they don't wear out — you buy it once and it's yours for life.

WHY OE?

Oe is the abbreviation for Oersted — the scientific unit used to measure magnetic field intensity, named after the scientist who first discovered that electricity and magnetism are connected. It felt like the only name that made sense. The Earth had it first. I'm just trying to share it.
